The EMSD has clinched the Hong Kong Most Innovative Knowledge Enterprise (MIKE) Award for four consecutive years, by virtue of its outstanding performance in fostering innovation and advancing knowledge management. In 2025, it scaled new heights by ranking among the three Top Winners and seizing the Best in Technology Deployment Award for the first time. In the same year, the EMSD was also honoured with the Global MIKE Award, and became one of the four organisations worldwide to receive the Most Outstanding Winner accolade, a testament to its excellence in knowledge management.
Cyber security is a crucial element in driving the development of I&T. The Cyber Security Professional Awards 2025, organised by the Hong Kong Police Force, aims to recognise professionals and organisations for their invaluable contributions to cyber security. At the presentation ceremony held this January, Mr Chan Hei-yim, Leo, Senior Engineer/Information Technology Strategic Support 1 of the EMSD, was awarded the Bronze Award in the Government Departments and Public Bodies sector. We take pride in this achievement, and will continue to build a robust and reliable cyber security environment, supporting the development of I&T, smart city and the digital economy.
